The Boudoir Experience
During our initial Zoom consultation, it is my goal to make a connection with you right away. Getting to really know you is going to be an incredibly important part of your experience. I want you to know that I am here to not only tell your story with beautiful imagery but to hold space and support you every step of the way.
Once your shoot is booked and your special day is finally here, you’ll arrive at Visionaries Loft with confidence after receiving (and reading) the detailed Boudoir Guide and filling out the Questionnaire that was provided to you when you booked.
Starting off the day, we will look over the outfits that you brought, or you can look through the client closet to see if anything tickles your fancy.
Next, you’ll receive professional hair and makeup by one of our talented artists.
Then we will move into the 90 – 120 minutes of private and personalized shooting time with me, Jamie. I’ll coach you on body language, how to channel different emotions and pose you with detailed instruction – no previous modeling experience is necessary at all, don’t worry.
Emotions are just energy in motion, and they live within us all. My job is to capture ALL of the beautiful emotions you have on the inside and to tell your authentic story and let your feminine essence be truly seen.
We will finish up your session how we always do, by taking a polaroid picture to go next to whatever cute little doodle or note you wrote in our guest book, and another for you to take home with you.
Lastly, before you leave we will book your image reveal to view your photos for the first time, make your image selections and view all available products for purchase or choose the image(s) for the deliverables that come with your package.
Typically, babes spend *on average* between $1,200 - $2,000 on their Boudoir Experience. Pre-payment plans are available and all major credit cards are accepted.
Keep in mind, if you require your images and/or product by a certain date, I recommend booking at least 8 weeks in advance. This is due to scheduling, product creation/ ordering and shipping.

Goodie Bag
A private image reveal that we will schedule 2-3 weeks after your boudoir experience. This is when you'll see your images for the first time and we will choose the images for your products and get them ordered. This is by far the ‘icing on the cake’ part of the experience!

FAQs
Who can book a boudoir session?
Anyone & everyone! It doesn’t matter if you’re 25 or 65, everybody is deserving of a boudoir shoot. As long as you are over 21, I think all women should experience a boudoir shoot at least once in their life! I wholeheartedly believe there is nothing else like it.
I'm super shy, a bit awkward and have never done this before so I’m worried I won’t look good in front of the camera…
Everyone feels a little awkward and shy at first, trust me. My number one priority is to make sure you are completely comfortable during your session, as well as give you posing directions and examples. You will not be vulnerable in front of my camera with nothing to do, I will make sure you and my lens become great friends and build trust :)
What body types do you shoot?
I photograph women of all shapes, sizes and ages. I don’t ever want you to think that you need to change your body or that you need to look a certain way to book a shoot. That’s bullshit. Emotions are not limited to size and they look beautiful on everyone. It is the human condition to feel.
Book a session because you want to and because it feels right!
What should I bring to a boudoir session?
I recommend that you bring a pair nude or black undies and maybe a bra to match. We will have time to shoot 4 outfits so bring those as well. The Client Closet is always an option, too (XS-3XL) so whatever makes you feel all the things like amazing, beautiful, feminine, sensual, and powerful when you put it on - bring/wear that! The most important thing is that you feel confident in whatever you decide on (even if you decide on nothing at all)!
I have no idea how to pose.
During your session, I will not only demonstrate each pose for you but I’ll give you body language and emotional coaching throughout the entire session. I’ll make adjustments to hair/wardrobe/etc. along the way (with your consent of course) so you just need to show up! No experience necessary. I promise, I gotchu.
Do you edit the images?
Definitely! All of the images you receive will be professionally retouched.
I don’t use tools like liquify to manipulate the body but I do soften skin, remove blemishes and highlight things like eyes, hair, jewelry etc. If you want more extensive editing to remove something like stretch marks or cellulite, I believe in every client having agency over their own bodies and it is ultimately up to YOU to tell me how you want to be edited and how you want to look at the end of your experience. It is your choice and regardless of what you choose, there is no shame here.

The next step is to simply SHOW UP! During your consult we will talk about your ‘why’. Why do you want to book a session now, what is your story, what are you looking forward to most and what do you want to feel when you walk away from your boudoir experience.

Step Three - Book Your Session
Once we are done having a heart to heart, learning all about each other and The Boudoir Experience, we will book your session! Once a date has been set, your 25% deposit due, you’ll answer the Questionnaire and I’ll email you over my Boudoir Guide so you are feeling prepared and confident for what’s to come!
