Hi! I’m so grateful you’re here!

My name is Jamie.

A lot of my clients have asked me if I’ve always loved photography, but the truth is I didn’t even pick up my first professional camera until AFTER I had my daughter and moved from OK to MA.

I didn’t always live in Oklahoma. I was born and raised in Massachusetts (West Boylston) and didn’t move to Oklahoma until the 8th grade. Always going back and forth, I went to college for a year at Bridgewater until I found out I was pregnant with my daughter at 19. Back to Oklahoma I went lol. My family and I finally moved back to Massachusetts for good in 2015 and I knew my life with my daughter was just getting started. :)

I picked up my first camera in 2017 when my best friend and I went to Wanderlust Festival in Stratton, VT. We took a class on camera basics at the summit of the mountain. It was so fun! I slowly started taking pictures after that, just for shits & giggles, nothing too serious. I was just messing around and documenting some organic moments and creative ideas as life was passing me by. It wasn’t until 2019 when I had a breakthrough moment and knew that I needed to take photography more seriously and start pursuing it as a career, not just this ‘thing I do for fun’. What was that breakthrough moment, you might ask? Quick story time.

My (now) husband and I got engaged and we hired a photographer for our engagement photos. Shelby <3 Her and I followed one another on instagram for years - she lived in Utah and I was absolutely obsessed with her work. So, we flew her and her husband to Boston and got an AirBnb in Portland, ME for all of us to stay so we could shoot our engagement photos and not worry about driving back late. Not only were the photos incredible, but Shelby and her husband were dope af.

In addition to our engagement shoot, Shelby offered me a boudoir shoot the next morning at our AirBnb while the guys went to grab breakfast and coffee. I never considered one before and I didn’t know what to expect but knew I wanted to surprise Zach with something spicy… well, that was it. The icing on the cake. I had a new passion, a new dream, a new goal for my future. I wanted to do what Shelby did for me and provide women these experiences, one photoshoot at a time. Boudoir, engagement, I didn’t care the type of shoot - all that mattered was the impact. I had never felt so beautiful, confident and comfortable in my own skin than I did during these two shoots. When I got the photos back? HOLY SHIT! I was in awe and that feeling was even more amplified!! I felt like the best version of myself. I felt like I could take on the world!

The rest is history.

I couldn’t get enough of it! I practiced on my friends and my kids, I took adult night classes at our local tech school, studied composition, editing, posing, color theory, you name it - I did it.

Except, I had no idea that I would fall head over heels IN LOVE with photography!

My absolute favorite part of being a photographer is capturing emotions, joy, love and those precious in-between moments.

I think it’s SO incredible that I get to celebrate and document tangible moments that people can cherish for a lifetime. Photography has become the most rewarding career I’ve ever experienced. I get to meet so many people and hear their stories, and I always learn new things from the people that I meet. I believe that connections are one of the most valuable things in our human experience.

I’ve always dreamed of being an artist. Photography was the creative outlet I didn’t know I needed. <3

I keep my photoshoots very playful and light-hearted.

It should be fun! And I want everyone to leave our session feeling great!

When I’m not working, you can catch me hanging out with my growing family, teaching a yoga class or eating.

Yes, you read that right… eating LOL. I am always hungry. I am always eating.

SNACKS ARE LIFE.

I feel so blessed and I am so grateful to have discovered this love for photography, knowing it has the power to change my life and grant me more freedom in multiple ways. I want my unique gifts and talents to bring happiness, laughter and peace to others making sure all of my clients feel SAFE and SEEN. I’m freaking pumped to be on this journey and I can’t wait to create amazing memories with you!
